1WorldSync Partners with Label Insight
1WorldSync has formed a strategic partnership with Label Insight to create a comprehensive solution for product data distribution and transparency.
The agreement will unify 1WorldSync's extensive product content database with Label Insight's high-order attribute data for global dissemination to retailers and other relevant parties through 1WorldSync cloud platform.
Packaged goods manufacturers and retailers will be able to use the data to satisfy a broad range of industry, e-commerce and regulatory requirements. For example, Label Insight and 1WorldSync will co-brand and co-market the leading solution to help companies comply with the SmartLabel industry transparency initiative.
"Consumers are now actively seeking detailed and accurate product information prior to making their purchase decisions," said Dan Wilkinson, 1WorldSync's chief commercial officer. "Our partnership with Label Insight allows brands and retailers to provide consumers with an unprecedented level of rich, high-quality product information."
Label Insight's database goes beyond the information available through conventional systems to include high-order attributes that provide enhanced, more detailed product descriptions designed to meet consumer demand for accurate information and greater transparency. Ingredients, nutrients, and marketing claims are analyzed and enriched with roughly 22,000 custom attributes such as ingredient definitions, micro- and macronutrient content, sustainability practices and specialty diet eligibility.
"Product transparency is no longer a nice-to-have for today's discriminating and increasingly health-conscious shopper," said Ronak Sheth, Label Insight's chief customer officer. "As brands and retailers look to build trust and loyalty with today's consumer, they are looking for an easier way to unlock deeper insights into their product set. With this partnership, Label Insight and 1WorldSync are offering a single, holistic data solution that delivers both deep insights and unmatched global distribution across the supply chain."
