Advanced Business Planning: Little Industry-wide Consensus on Necessary Capabilities

Advanced Business Planning (ABP) is one of the most critical capabilities necessary for any company to effectively compete in the consumer goods (CG) industry. The three components are long range planning, annual planning and a rolling forecast. Yet, as critical as these components are, not all companies have expertise in all areas and we found differences by company size.
