Ainsworth Growth Strategy Includes IBP Platform

Ainsworth Pet Nutrition has selected the Exceedra integrated business planning solution in an effort to optimize its business and sales & operations planning processes in support of the company’s growth strategy.

“After evaluating the marketplace, we’ve chosen Exceedra as our partner to help improve our capabilities and streamline the overall process so that the sales team has more time to devote to analysis and selling,” commented Kim Marsh, Ainsworth's vice president of sales.

The platform, which includes trade promotion management and optimization, gives Ainsworth a solution that integrates process across sales, finance, supply chain, demand planning and marketing, solving many issues across departments while streamlining and reducing manual effort. This is expected to enable Ainsworth to simulate trade promotion scenarios and business plans and facilitate improved pre- and post-promotion analysis all in one system to support better-informed decision-making.

The system will also help drive improvements in the settlement process as well as improve reporting and visibility across the organization.
