Anheuser-Busch InBev Strikes Supply Chain Deal
Anheuser-Busch InBev, a global brewer and one of the world’s top five consumer product companies, has selected JDA Transportation Manager, JDA Transportation Modeler, JDA Transportation Planner and JDA Agile Business Process Platform (ABPP) from JDA software Group in the first quarter of 2012.
Based in Leuven, Belgium, Anheuser-Busch InBev manages a portfolio of well over 200 beer brands that includes global flagship brands Budweiser, Stella Artois and Beck’s.
Successful implementations of JDA Transportation and Logistics Management solutions in its Argentina, Brazil, Russia and U.S. operations have led to greater efficiencies, improved customer service and a reduction of the company’s carbon footprint. As a result, Anheuser-Busch InBev has now chosen to roll out the solutions to its Benelux, Germany and United Kingdom operations.
