Bounty Roll to Make a Huge Difference

Procter & Gamble's new Bounty Huge Roll is on a journey to help those in need, with the paper towel brand pledging to make a $50,000 product donation to five local food banks nationwide with the help of consumers in local communities.

"Just as the new Bounty Huge Roll aligns with our commitment to provide consumers with huge value, our goal through this campaign is to make a huge difference in the lives of those in need," says Chris Brown, Procter & Gamble Marketing Brand manager, Bounty. "Local food banks are critical to serving people in need in communities across the country, and our hope in pledging to raise $50,000 worth of paper towels, is to incite people into action so together we can make a difference."

To rally public support around this cause, Bounty has created a larger-than-life shopping cart that will transport a giant six-foot replica of the new Bounty Huge Roll - in reality, two and a half times larger than one regular Bounty roll. In five U.S. cities, the cart will visit consumers at major retail chains symbolizing not only the paper towel brand's commitment to providing value to consumers with the new Huge Roll but also its desire to help those in need and inspire others to join in the cause.

Consumers in the local store markets - ranging from Massachusetts to Texas - are invited to have their photos taken with the Bounty Huge Roll replica and will receive product coupons. However, anyone can join Bounty's efforts to donate up to $50,000 worth of Bounty paper towels to local food banks by becoming a "fan" of the newly-launched Bounty page on the Facebook social networking site. For every fan that joins, starting March 4, Bounty will donate one roll of paper towels to each of five local food banks, one per market, up to $10,000 for a total of $50,000 worth of product.
