Capri Sun Makes Lighter Pouches

Capri Sun, the portable juice drink in the distinctive foil pouch, now offers 25 percent less sugar with no artificial sweeteners in its juices. Now the juices are said to provide a more wholesome option for moms searching for better-for-you products for their kids.

"We know it can be a challenge for moms to find wholesome foods and beverages their kids love. Capri Sun satisfies both with a fun look, fantastic flavors, and wholesome benefits," says Jennifer Huang, brand manager, Capri Sun / Kids RTD. "And the new Capri Sun also teaches kids that less sugar doesn't mean less taste."

The product now has no artificial sweeteners, and no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives and is a Kraft Foods Sensible Solution product. Kraft has designated more than 500 of its better-for-you products as Sensible Solution items to help consumers make informed choices.

The new Capri Sun juices with less sugar comes in Fruit Punch, Strawberry Kiwi, and Wild Cherry, and will be available at select retail and grocery stores nationwide beginning in April.
