The Central Group, Toronto, has acquired the Barberan Jetmaster 1750 digital printer. The company will add the printer as part of its services after it is delivered this fall.
The printer’s single pass digital technology will allow The Central Group to offer current clients and future customers an upper hand to their business. With near-litho printing direct to multiple substrates, the Jetmaster increases:
- flexibility
- customization while reducing inventories and obsolescence
- cost savings through efficiency and the elimination of printing plates
The UV inks available with the Jetmaster offer a high-quality print on mottled paper surfaces, which reduces the need for premium coated surfaces that often come at higher costs. In addition, spot varnish technology allows for precise register for secondary applications and the highlighting of specific features and areas of the printed content.
