CGSM 2019 to Spotlight Cutting-Edge Tools

Breen

In a unique showcase at this year's Consumer Goods Sales & Marketing Summit (CGSM), attendees will be able to experience a variety of cutting-edge digital technologies that have been designed to improve enterprise efficiency, enhance consumer engagement — or do both simultaneously.

Staged in partnership with technology commercializer i2i Labs, Bentonville, Arkansas, the “Tip of the Spear Technology Showcase” will bring together 10 emerging tools from startup companies in a unique forum that will let attendees gain first-hand experience about how the solutions can impact their businesses. The tools were curated and selected specifically for their relevance to the CGSM audience of sales, marketing and IT professionals.

“The adoption of new technologies has become critical to success in the consumer goods industry. But many executives don’t have the time to learn about the emerging tools that can help them drive growth,” said Peter Breen, editor-in-chief of CGSM producer Path to Purchase Institute. “We joined with i2i to present this showcase to give our attendees a chance not only to learn about new tools, but to evaluate them first-hand.”

Among the tools that will be on display are a personalization engine from Reflekt.me; direct-to-consumer digital advertising protocol technology from Ad Persistence; a 3D photo creation solution from Zeg.ai; Lab141’s made-to-fit manufacturing engine; and a network security system from Dispersive Networks.

Attendees of the showcase will be able to vote for their favorite technologies for a chance to win prizes. The top vote-getting solutions will be recognized from the main stage at the event and later in Path to Purchase IQ magazine.

CGSM’s full agenda is designed to expose attendees to the technologies and techniques they need to become disruptive forces in the industry. The informative, interactive agenda includes new technology showcases, peer-to-peer networking sessions and focused share groups in addition to a lineup of leading industry innovators and thought leaders.

The conference will conclude with a half-day session of the invitation-only League of Leaders, a group of leading executives in the consumer goods industry who are committed to fostering best practices for the strategic use of technology to drive meaningful business growth. Members include executives from PepsiCo, Georgia-Pacific, Kimberly-Clark, Wakefern Food Corp., SAP and PwC.
