The retail chain has named Geoffrey Covert as president and CEO. Covert, who spent 22 years with Procter & Gamble, had been with Kroger for 19 years, ultimately serving as senior vice president, retail divisions, with additional responsibilities for new-market expansion.

Meijer Inc., Grand Rapids, Michigan

The company has named Rick Keyes as its new president. He succeeds J.K. Symancyk, who is leaving the company to join a Texas-based sports and outdoor lifestyle retailer.

Specialized Bicycle Components, Morgan Park, California

Lena Huang, a digital shopper marketer at 7-Eleven for the past three years, is the specialty retailer’s new director of digital marketing.
