The food and beverage company has named Ralph Scozzafava as executive vice president and COO. Scozzafava previously held executive positions at Clorox and Campbell Soup Co.

Nestle Purina, St. Louis

Melissa VanVickle, formerly of Anheuser-Busch, was recently hired by Nestle Purina as an assistant manager, category shopper insights.

SC Johnson, Racine, Wisconsin

Ann Mukherjee, a key architect of PepsiCo’s brand strategy in recent years, has been hired as the manufacturer’s first global chief marketing officer.

Jessica Waxenberg Levison has been promoted to the position of manager, shopper insights, e-commerce and grocery.

Kroger Co., Cincinnati

Scot Hendricks has been promoted to president of Kroger’s Delta division, which is based in Memphis, Tennessee, and operates stores in Western Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, Arkansas and Missouri.

Lowe’s, Mooresville, North Carolina

The home improvement retailer has appointed former Family Dollar executive Jocelyn Wong to the role of senior vice president and general merchandising manager for the company’s seasonal product business.

Meijer Inc., Grand Rapids, Michigan

Renee Appert has been promoted from director of brand development to director of brand and foods marketing.

Sam’s Club, Bentonville, Arkansas

The retailer made nine personnel moves focused on merchandising. Seong Ohm is moving from SVP, merchandise business services, to SVP, merchandise solutions; Todd Matherly is moving from SVP, merchandise solutions, to SVP, business member merchandising; Jason Shaw is moving from VP, merchandise transformation, to VP, category management (a new position); George Agnacian is moving from VP, proprietary brands, to VP, Sam’s Club global leverage; Greg Cathey is moving from VP, Sam’s global leverage, to VP and DMM, regional buying, food and beverage; Chandra Holt (formerly of Walgreens) will assume responsibility as VP, proprietary brands; Russell Mounce has been promoted to VP and DMM, produce; MiKaela Wardlaw Lemmon will change in reporting from merchandising to membership; and Alex Aguila will change in reporting from merchandising to membership.
