Continuing a Legacy
Last month, the consumer goods industry lost a true visionary when Richard “Dick” Clark passed away. Some of you aptly called him the “Father of Demand Planning”, and in that capacity, his supply chain advances reached far beyond the walls of P&G, where he spent 35 years and most recently served as Demand Planning Global Process Owner. To ensure that Dick’s contribution to the industry continues to have a lasting impression on future leaders, CGT and Terra Technology established a scholarship fund in his name at his alma mater, Texas A&M University. Please contact CGT Publisher Albert Guffanti at [email protected] for more information on how to contribute. CGT will also recognize one consumer goods company’s standout successes in supply chain with the Dick Clark Supply Chain award this month at the 2011 Business & Technology Leadership Conference. Stay tuned for that announcement.
