Digital Tempus, and Planalytics announce a new partnership expected to enable companies to model and measure the impact of weather variability, in combination with other critical market dynamics, on business planning and performance. As a result of the partnership, Digital Tempus will help to deliver improved forecast precision by integrating Planalytics Business Weather Intelligence into companies’ planning capabilities.
 
Planalytics Business Weather Intelligence provides Weather-Driven Demand indices that isolate the impact of weather on specific products and services, quantifying opportunities and risks across geographies and time periods. Weather-Driven Demand identifies when, where and how much (either as a percentage “lift” or “drag” or in number of units or transactions) weather will influence demand, enabling businesses to more effectively align inventories with sales opportunities in individual regions or markets.
