Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream Makes Executive Changes

Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream Holdings Inc. announces two senior executive changes. Tony Sarsam is named executive vice president of sales and operations, and Rhonda Ramlo is named executive vice president of marketing, replacing Tyler Johnston who will be retiring this summer after 20 years with the company.

Tony Sarsam joined Dreyer's in 2006 as executive vice president of operations and supply chain. In this expanded role, he is responsible for sales, distribution, supply chain, information systems and operating business strategy for all of Dreyer's ice cream and frozen dessert products. He joined Dreyer's following a 20-year career with PepsiCo's Frito-Lay business, where he progressed through a series of leadership positions in manufacturing, supply chain, finance, sales and strategy.

Rhonda Ramlo, a 14-year veteran of Dreyer's, assumes the head marketing job for the company which manufactures and markets the country's leading ice cream and frozen snacks brands, including Dreyer's, Edy's, Haagen-Dazs, Nestle and Skinny Cow. Previously, Ramlo was executive vice president of sales and distribution, having worked her way through a number of executive positions including director of strategic sales development, vice president and division manager, and senior vice president of sales. Prior to joining Dreyer's, Ramlo spent eight-and-a-half years in marketing with The Clorox Company where she advanced to group marketing manager of the food division.
