Georgia-Pacific Adopts Inventory Optimization Solution

Georgia Pacific, one of the world's largest manufacturers of tissue, paper, packaging and other consumer products, selects ToolsGroup's DPM Inventory Optimization Solution to optimize customer service to a diverse customer base, while simultaneously reducing inventory and operating costs. Consumer paper goods companies Fater (a joint venture between Procter & Gamble and Angelini Group) and Jofel Industrial also partnered with ToolsGroup in 2006. Fater recently launched a significant overhaul of its planning systems and selected ToolsGroup to support a higher level of service for its customers. While Jofel Industrial, an international maker of hygiene and cleaning products, will use ToolsGroup to improve service levels, reduce finished goods inventory and decrease costs associated with rush-order handling.
