Goya Sets Scope to Improve Supply Chain Execution

Goya Foods, the largest Hispanic-owned food company in the United States, selects solutions from the Manhattan SCOPE solution portfolio from Manhattan Associates to optimize its distribution and transportation processes.

Goya will implement Manhattan's Warehouse Management, Slotting Optimization and Labor Management solutions in 12 distribution centers located in the United States, Puerto Rico and Spain, which will work with solutions from the Manhattan Transportation Lifecycle Management suite to optimize global distribution of more than 1,600 food products from the Caribbean, Mexico and both Central and South America.

"Our supply chain upgrades will significantly improve the efficiency of the Goya Foods organization while driving down overall costs and improving service to our customers and vendors," says Peter Unanue, executive vice president, distribution for Goya Foods. "Manhattan's solutions will support our future growth while also getting our products to shelves faster."

The Manhattan SCOPE portfolio is developed on a supply chain process platform that facilitates the communication of cross-suite applications to address specific supply chain requirements for the goals of each Manhattan customer. The solutions selected by Goya Foods are within the Distribution Management and Transportation Lifecycle Management suites and are designed to seamlessly optimize day-to-day processes from one common interface in real time.
