Granada Sales Boosts Productivity with ERP Solution

4/15/2011
Granada Sales Corp., a private-label manufacturer of women's loungewear and sleepwear, is implementing NGC's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software to boost productivity and efficiency in every area of Granada's business and financial operations.

Granada, which provides private-label apparel to such top-tier retailers as Wal-Mart, Sears and J.C. Penney, selected NGC based on the strength of NGC's ERP solution and the company's extensive experience in the apparel industry. "We reviewed a number of competing ERP providers, but NGC's apparel industry expertise really stood out," says Jim McGinn, CFO, Granada Sales Corp. "Everyone here has been impressed with the breadth of NGC's knowledge of our industry and the capabilities of the system."

The functionality of NGC's ERP was ideally suited to Granada's requirements. According to McGinn, NGC's ERP software will provide Granada with "a single point of entry for the entire company, from finance to inventory control, sales orders and production – the complete manufacturing lifecycle. It includes a number of attributes that are essential in the apparel industry, such as the way it handles cut and sew operations, the integrated EDI module, and inventory management. NGC's ERP will help our existing personnel become much more productive."

When the implementation is complete, the new ERP solution is expected to help Granada realize a number of additional benefits, including a streamlined work flow, higher profitability, reduced costs, superior customer service, improved inventory turns and visibility into the entire enterprise. NGC’s ERP software includes a configurable EDI system, financial accounting, reporting features and executive dashboards that display information at a glance.
