Healy Wholesale Improves Direct Store Delivery

3/21/2012
Healy Wholesale selects HighJump RouteCenter On-Demand, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) version of the HighJump RouteCenter route accounting system (RAS), from HighJump Software. Healy Wholesale is a long-time HighJump Software direct store delivery (DSD) customer and markets the products of a number of major beer suppliers including MillerCoors, Heineken, Guinness, and New Belgium. Healy Wholesale operates one warehouse in Fayetteville, N.C. and runs 22 routes per day.

“We think the efficiencies we gain across the company as a result of our new HighJump route accounting system will enable us to begin to look at expanding the company,” says Mac Healy, president, Healy Wholesale. “In addition, my current backups and system security aren’t as good as they should be and we don’t have a huge IT staff. The fact that HighJump RouteCenter On-Demand is hosted by HighJump means our system and data are safe and are maintained by the experts at HighJump.”

Healy Wholesale will take advantage of HighJump RouteCenter’s functionality for beer distributors. Key functionality in the system includes order management, inventory management, route settlement, pricing, promotions and integration to the HighJump Software mobile sales and DSD software suite. The system also provides taxation and regulatory reporting to help manage the complex, highly regulated nature of alcohol sales. Additionally, the solution allows beverage distributors to perform mobile e-commerce transactions with retailers and supplier organizations. Healy Wholesale plans to implement HighJump Load Management as part of the second phase of the project.
