Henkel Brand Celebrates 65 Years
Henkel brand, Dial, commemorates its 65th anniversary this summer with the Dial $65K Gold Giveaway, a $65,000 sweepstakes in honor of the brand's golden heritage. Dial is celebrating six and a half decades as a leader and pioneer in the category—from introducing the first odor-eliminating soap in 1948 and sending the first soap into space in 1961, to making a big splash today with its innovative body wash formulas.
"We are so excited to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Dial brand with our fans through the Dial $65K Gold Giveaway on Facebook in honor of the gold bar that started it all," says Chris Sommer, vice president of Marketing, Personal Care. Dial Personal Care has a history with larger-than-life giveaways. In 1954, the brand gave away an oil well and in 1958 it hosted a "win your weight in gold" sweepstakes.
Dial fans who really want to clean up have just over a month remaining to enter to win a year-long supply of Dial Body Wash and chance for the ultimate Grand Prize—$65,000 in gold.
