Henkel Selects VMI Platform

8/1/2013
Henkel Consumer Goods Inc., provider of consumer brands such as Dial, Purex, Soft Scrub and Right Guard, selects Datalliance VMI as the next-generation platform for its consumer goods Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) program.

"We see VMI as an important aspect of our relationship with major customers," says Tracee Abu, Henkel Customer Supply Chain manager. "Because of that, we decided to transition to a new platform that would enable us to sustain and expand our VMI program. After looking at a number of vendors, we selected Datalliance because of their track record of ongoing VMI innovation and excellent customer service. A number of consumer goods suppliers use their VMI system so most of our retail partners will be familiar with the platform. In addition to supporting our existing VMI customers, Datalliance will give us the added flexibility to expand our program to more customers over time."

Henkel operates worldwide with leading brands and technologies in three business areas: Laundry & Home Care, Beauty Care and Adhesive Technologies. Headquartered in Duesseldorf, Germany, Henkel employs about 47,000 people worldwide.
