HighJump Software, a global provider of supply chain execution solutions, appoints Timothy Campbell as chief executive officer. Campbell will also serve on HighJump's board of directors.Campbell joins HighJump Software from his position as President of Symyx Software, the software division of Symyx Technologies Inc. Under Campbell's leadership, Symyx Software rapidly grew to more than $100 million. This growth included the acquisition and integration of MDL Information Systems which, when combined with Symyx Software, resulted in the cheminformatics technology provider serving life sciences, chemicals and energy.
With 20 years of experience in the software industry, Campbell's tenure also includes chief executive positions at Steelwedge Software, a provider of supply chain planning software, Industri-Matematik International, a provider of supply chain execution solutions and ePIT Systems Inc., an enterprise software provider of trading infrastructure for regulated exchanges and investment banks.
