International Tech Group Acquires HighJump

International technology group Korber has acquired supply chain execution vendor HighJump.

The deal reinforces Korber's business area logistics systems business. HighJump was recognized as a top Supply Chain Execution solution provider in CGT's 2017 "Reader's Choice" survey.

Minneapolis, Minn.-based HighJump specializes in supply chain management software. The company has additional operations in Canada, UK, Australia, and China. It serves roughly 4,000 customers across the retail, consumer goods, automotive, aerospace and pharmaceutical industries.

HighJump joins a stable of supply chain management specialists that also includes Inconso, DMLogic and Aberle Software. "With the acquisition of HighJump, we are … taking a leading international position in the areas of supply chain management and cloud solutions," says Stephan Seifert, Korber AG's chairman. "With its experienced team of experts and its broad customer base, HighJump will strengthen our long-term internationalization and growth trajectory.

HighJump offers a cloud-ready technology platform, as well as software applications that provide customers with an integrated view of the entire supply chain, from warehouse management and intra-logistics to transport management. The platform enables consistent visibility of all goods flows and the synchronization of business processes across all channels.

The company had been owned by Accellos Holdings and its primary investor, Accel-KKR, a technology-focused investment firm. Affiliate TrueCommerce, a cloud based business-to-business commerce network acquired by HighJump in 2010, will continue to be owned by Accellos and Accel-KKR.
