Kashi Acquires Vegan Snack Brand Pure Organic
Kellogg's U.S.'s Kashi Company has acquired Pure Organic, manufacturers of The Pure Bar line of organic vegan snack bars.
Pure Organic made the announcment in a video
Founder Veronica Bosgraaf created the brand ten years ago when her then 6-year-old daughter decided to become a vegetarian. Products are certified organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and kosher.
In the video Bosgraaf said, "Since I started Pure, it has been a daily goal of mine to bring more nutritious organic food to more people. Kashi has the resources, the knowledge, better distribution, to allow us to do just that.”
