Kimberly-Clark Completes Move to VMI Platform

5/7/2013
Kimberly-Clark completes the migration of its North American Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) program to the Datalliance VMI platform. Kimberly-Clark is now using Datalliance VMI to manage its consumer brands for 15 retail partners.

"We selected Datalliance due to their flexibility to understand the needs of Kimberly-Clark and our customers," says Liz Neuman, Kimberly-Clark director of Consumer Supply Chain Solutions. "The transition to Datalliance went smoothly due to on-going dialog and their willingness to customize applications. We are seeing increased analyst efficiency due to the tool's ease of use, which has resulted in the ability to leverage data to make better decisions."

Kimberly-Clark is recognized for excellence in supply chain management. They were named as part of Gartner's 2012 Supply Chain 25 -- a prestigious list of the top 25 companies across all industries that best demonstrate leadership in applying demand-driven principles to drive business results. They were listed as the number 7 top company in the Consumer Products industry.
