Kimberly-Clark Renews Procurement Contract
Kimberly-Clark Corporation extends its partnership agreement with ICG Commerce. By working closely with Kimberly-Clark’s business stakeholders and procurement leadership, ICG Commerce will continue to help the company execute innovative spend management strategies across its operations in North America and Europe.
“This environment demands that procurement organizations deliver more value than ever in the form of savings as well as innovation,” says Cynthia Dautrich, Global Procurement officer, Kimberly-Clark. “Our partnership with ICG Commerce helps us deliver this level of value on the indirect side while we continue to focus on extracting more value from our direct spend. ICG Commerce works as an extension of our team, supporting the indirect space by bringing category expertise, market intelligence and specialized tools.”
Building upon the results achieved over the last five years, the partnership will stay focused on optimizing spend and driving savings in the areas of Marketing Services, Corporate Services, Travel, IT, and MRO (Maintenance, Repairs and Operations). In order to drive incremental value in these areas, the joint team will focus on next-generation spend optimization strategies such as proactive cost management, policy optimization and collaborating with suppliers to drive innovation.
