Kimberly-Clark Taps TCS for Global IT Infrastructure Services

Kimberly-Clark Corporation signs yet another services agreement, this time with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for information technology infrastructure support to operations in the United States, Europe, South America and the Asia Pacific region. Services that TCS will provide include service desk and data center operational support, computer security, SAP basis, data network, desktop, voice, messaging and videoconferencing.

"Kimberly-Clark chose TCS to provide infrastructure support because of the compelling value that TCS brings to the table," says Ian Maginnis, Kimberly-Clark vice president of business support delivery. "We believe this partnership with TCS will help us derive more value out of our IT investments, allow us to streamline the way we do our business globally, and enable us to better direct our resources on innovation, brand-building and other capabilities that will drive long-term sustainable growth."

Earlier this month, Kimberly-Clark also announced selecting Cognizant for support of an array of SAP and customized software applications; Genpact for finance and accounting services; and ICG for sourcing and supply management services.
