LeapFrog Enhances Supply Chain and Procurement Operations
LeapFrog Enterprises Inc. successfully implements Oracle Supply Chain Management applications to lower inventory, increase visibility across global operations, better plan for spikes in demand and improve procurement practices. Prior to implementing Oracle, LeapFrog relied on a customized point solution and homegrown applications to manage its forecasting, demand management and procurement processes. To support its high-volume business and complex supply chain, LeapFrog needed to move to an integrated system. Based on the success of its previous Oracle implementation, the company retired its legacy environment and implemented Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning, Oracle Global Order Promising, Oracle Demand Planning and Oracle Advanced Procurement. "We complete 80 percent of our business within a six-month period to help ensure that our learning products and games are on the shelves of Wal-Mart, Target and Toys "R" Us for the Christmas shopping season," says LeapFrog CIO Robert Moon.
