Menz & Gasser Taps Infor's Digital Chops

Menz & Gasser has selected technology from Infor to help digitally transform its business. The initiative is designed to help standardize operations, drive new product development and improve supply chain performance.

Deployed by Infor partner Avaap, the Infor OS and Infor PLM Optiva solutions will be key elements of the Italian jam and marmalade manufacturer's company-wide business process evolution, which is already supported by Infor LN ERP.

The flexibility of Infor’s hybrid cloud model will enable Menz & Gasser to deploy these applications on premise, then migrate to the cloud after an infrastructure upgrade currently planned for 2020.

Menz & Gasser has recently experienced a period of growth that led to the deployment of custom applications to support production, product development, document flows and project management business processes, but without the support of a dedicated solution.

By implementing Infor, the company plans to leverage an integrated set of functionalities and standardized business processes. The potential benefits are focused on improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of processes around product development, industrialization and supply chain flows.
