Mindtree Opens a 'Digital Pumpkin' in the U.S.

Mindtree has opened its first international "Digital Pumpkin" innovation hub within its Warren, NJ, office.

Building on the success of the original Digital Pumpkin at global headquarters in Bangalore, India, the facility addresses the demand from Mindtree's U.S. clients for an interactive space where multi-disciplinary teams can ideate, design and craft meaningful digital experiences.

Within the 16,000-square-foot work space, businesses can build a culture of innovation by bringing together a multi-disciplinary team of experts from Mindtree and technology accelerators, including partners such as start-ups with solutions that can benefit clients. Participants come together to create empathetic user stories, personas and customer journey maps, functional prototypes and pilots for future projects.

The space offers solutions, accelerators and tools for clients to access and put plans into play, including a multichannel site builder, a consumer engagement and loyalty platform, and a next-generation unified interface for consumer-centric organizations. These solutions can be leveraged to turn ideas into lasting business advantage.

Among some of the most successful technologies that are part of the space's portfolio are solutions around the internet of things, artificial intelligence, cognitive solutions, virtual & augmented reality, machine learning, conversational, cloud and big data. Mindtree's partners will also be involved in finding solutions for clients where appropriate.

Since its opening in 2013, the Bangalore-based Digital Pumpkin has been the seedbed behind more than 50 major transformations, according to the company.
