Nestle Automates With DSD and SFA Solutions
With the goal of eliminating its current paper system and implementing a more efficient delivery system, Nestl Schller selected Visicom DSD to automate its 320 delivery routes.
Equipped with Motorola MC65, the DSD drivers will have the information they need at their fingertips on a daily basis. The project launch is scheduled for March/April 2013.
In other automation news from another Nestle subsidiary, Nestl Japan’s 270 sales representatives will use Visicom SFA solution, on Android platform, primarily for planning and monitoring customers’ activities and instantly sharing the data with sales management while the information is still valuable.
Nestl’s primary goal is reportedly to increase sales team efficiency and decrease administration and support costs for mobile solutions, while preserving universal functionalities for all European and Asia/Pacific markets.
The first Visicom SFA Android Go-Live in full Japan localization is scheduled for November 2012.
