Jones Apparel Group Inc. announced the completion of the company's remodeling efforts at its flagship
Nine West store on 5th Avenue at 53rd St., New York, NY. Designed by Jones' in-house design team in partnership with Fred Allard, Nine West creative director, the store celebrates the relationship between the Nine West brand and women's love of shoes while visually communicating the essence of the brand. Initially opened in 1994, the 5th Ave. Nine West flagship store is one of many Nine West stores across the country that Jones is remodeling as part of the company's initiative to enhance its vertical retail operations. Sheryl Bloom, president of Fashion Footwear, Retail for Jones Apparel Group, says, "Initial consumer response has been one of intrigue and delight, creating a real buzz about the store and the brand. We believe this and other remodeling efforts will revitalize our brand and create a truly unique shopping experience for our consumers."
