Perry Ellis Strengthens Digital Commerce Strategy

4/17/2012
Perry Ellis International, the iconic, global apparel designer, distributor and licensor, selected Demandware Commerce as the central platform for managing holistic digital commerce experiences for its multiple brands. In late 2011, Perry Ellis International launched new e-commerce and mobile commerce sites on Demandware for four of its key brands, including Cubavera, Original Penguin, Rafaella and Perry Ellis.

“The Demandware model, including access to more than a hundred major technology partners through its LINK Marketplace, was a key differentiator as it provides us with the ability to quickly implement new functionality,” said Michelle Macgallon, vice president of digital commerce for Perry Ellis International. “Since launching on Demandware Commerce, we are seeing improved customer satisfaction and KPI's across all four sites from the ability for customers to refine their searches to ease of checkout. We now feel that we have a strategic partner and a platform that can help us grow our business.”

Perry Ellis International selected Demandware to replace its legacy platform because it provides a highly scalable cloud-based commerce platform that empowers its users to drive innovation and growth for its multiple brands.
