P&G, Unilever, L'Oreal Top List of Global Marketers
Advertising Age recently reported its annual list of top global marketers. Of the 100 companies featured, 36 are consumer goods companies (excluding consumer electronics companies).
The leaders in our industry -- P&G, Unilever, L’Oreal, Colgate-Palmolive, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo -- had one major thing in common: They all advertise where they see opportunity for growth. These days, that means China, which accounts for 20 percent of the world’s population (versus the U.S. with 5 percent).
