P&G, Unilever, L'Oreal Top List of Global Marketers

12/10/2010

Advertising Age recently reported its annual list of top global marketers. Of the 100 companies featured, 36 are consumer goods companies (excluding consumer electronics companies).

The leaders in our industry -- P&G, Unilever, L’Oreal, Colgate-Palmolive, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo -- had one major thing in common: They all advertise where they see opportunity for growth. These days, that means China, which accounts for 20 percent of the world’s population (versus the U.S. with 5 percent).

Here, CGT breaks down Advertisng Age’s Top 100 list to highlight only the consumer goods companies. To see the full list, click here.
