Sam’s Club is working with Novartis Pharmaceuticals and Valeant Pharmaceuticals to promote its contact lens delivery program in stores.
A lineup of four pallet displays stocking products from Alcon’s Opti-Free and Clear Care and Bausch & Lomb’s Biotrue and PreserVision brands employ coordinated creative and a “care for your eyes” message.
The displays plug product benefits and invite shoppers to order contact lenses at a store optical center, by phone or on samsclubcontacts.com.
The website, powered by Columbus, OH-based Arlington Lens Supply, currently spotlights lenses from Alcon and Johnson & Johnson’s Acuvue via home page carousel ads. It also lists Alcon’s Air Optix, Dailies, FreshLook ColorBlends and CopperVision’s Biofinity as “featured brands.” The site lets shoppers search for contacts by brand, type and manufacturer.
Delivery is free with purchase of at least $45. Orders can be shipped to store optical centers or to the shopper's home.
