SAP/Teradata Partner for Data Warehousing
Teradata Corporation and SAP AG announce a new agreement to provide SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse (SAP NetWeaver BW) on the Teradata database, which aims to deliver accelerated, unified access to detailed enterprise data for improved business visibility. The companies expect that the partnership will deliver a seamlessly integrated and scalable solution that lowers total cost of ownership and consolidates data on one database platform.

The partnership agreement also renews and expands Teradata's role as a reseller and as a strategic database platform for the SAP BusinessObjects portfolio, which provides open, heterogeneous solutions in the areas of business intelligence, information management, governance, risk and compliance, enterprise performance management and all the components of the SAP NetWeaver technology platform. Additionally, SAP and Teradata will look to leverage their joint business intelligence solutions in non-SAP enterprise resource planning accounts.
