"We are focused on customer and operational excellence in order to meet our aggressive growth plans," says Steve Merry, senior vice president and chief information officer, Sara Lee Corporation. "As our partner, HP plays an integral role contributing to our success by consistently delivering quality services."

As part of the new agreement, HP will supply Sara Lee with infrastructure outsourcing services, including central and local end-user support services. HP also provides Sara Lee with data center and network services in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Latin America and Asia.

HP has been supporting Sara Lee's technology infrastructure with associated services since December 2000, when the companies signed their original outsourcing services contract.
