Schwan's Renews Agreement with DemandTec

Schwan’s Consumer Brands North America, Inc., renews its subscription to DemandTec Inc.’s Customer Trade Planning (formerly Trade Planning & Optimization) software service, one of several solutions and services that make up DemandTec Decisions, a comprehensive suite of capabilities helping consumer products companies reinvent sales and marketing planning on the DemandTec network.
 
"Our relationship with DemandTec is driven by a desire to serve our retail customers and their shoppers more effectively,” says Ron Slominski, senior director of Customer Marketing at Schwan’s Global Consumer Brands, Inc. “DemandTec supports our efforts to develop shopper-centric action plans that maximize our investment in trade promotions.”
 
By leveraging the new solution, Schwan’s aims to empower its trade planning teams to create unified pricing and promotion plans that yield a more effective deployment of trade promotion investments, while also increasing collaboration with retail trading partners on the DemandTec network. Schwan’s is expected to able to better understand and predict changes in the marketplace and shape pricing and promotion strategies using DemandTec’s insights and predictive analytics for a comprehensive planning picture and tighter forecast accuracy to achieve brand and category objectives.
