Scotch Slotted Cards

These “displays” for 3M’s Scotch Magic tape are ridiculously simple yet brilliantly effective. Consider all the wrapping paper sold at Christmastime. The one critical companion element is tape. These slotted cards – with “S” hooks attaching them to the wrapping paper cartons – remind shoppers of the connection. While these units probably cost less than a dime each, look at the incremental sales they achieved in just two days (I checked).
