With Sensormatic's item-level RFID read points and dual technology tags, Vue Technology's comprehensive software platform and networking products, ADT's global sales and service capabilities, and Vue Technology's network of integration partners, customers are predicted to benefits from increased data integrity at the item level and accurately track items from the stock room to the sales floor to the point-of-sale. The acquisition is focused on offering customers integrated item-level intelligence solutions based on low cost infrastructure and flexible and scalable software.

Moving forward, Vue Technology gains access to Tyco International product development resources and global delivery capabilities. Additionally, Vue Technology will benefit from the growing Sensormatic portfolio of smart sensor technologies that are focused on driving increased profitability.
