Siemens Adopts Supplier Relationship Management

Siemens AG, a global leader in electronics, expands its strategic relationship with SAP with its selection of the SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM) application for Siemens' worldwide e-procurement operations.The use of SAP SRM is expected to allow Siemens to extend the value of its current investment in SAP Business Suite software with an integrated offering for automating goods and services procure-to-pay processes for indirect materials.

 

In addition to the selection of SAP SRM, Siemens renewed its service relationship with SAP for global maintenance support for all SAP solutions. Siemens also requested SAP assume support for some of Siemens' in-house developed solutions that connect to SAP solutions.

 

Further, Siemens extended its service relationship to include SAP MaxAttention support SAP's support option that provides on-site intensive customized support services.
