McCormick & Co. Selects Blue Chip Marketing
Northbrook, Illinois-based Blue Chip Marketing Worldwide was recently named shopper marketing agency of record for North America by McCormick & Co. The appointment followed a competitive review. The Chicago-based agency has already been working with McCormick on several shopper marketing projects since January 2016. “Together with Blue Chip, we look forward to elevating McCormick shopper marketing in both the United States and Canada to further engage our shoppers and key customers,” Virginia Jordan, McCormick’s vice president of marketing, said in a media release.
More P-O-P Companies Add Shelfbucks Platform
Appleton, Wisconsin-based Great Northern Instore and Green Bay, Wisconsin-based Green Bay Packaging have finalized agreements with Shelfbucks, Austin, Texas, to incorporate the Shelfbucks platform into their customer point-of-purchase displays. Shelfbucks’ SmartDisplay platform will provide CPG customers and retail partners with precise, measurable reports on when and where displays are installed within retail stores that the Wisconsin P-O-P companies serve globally. Shelfbucks has been partnering with various P-O-P companies to incorporate its SmartDisplay platform including Menasha Packaging Co., Neenah, Wisconsin, and Hanover, Pennsylvania-based TimBar Packaging & Display.
Office Depot Extends Dunnhumby Partnership
Office Depot has extended its partnership and customer science work with London-based dunnhumby. “We are committed to helping our customers by providing the best experience possible, and dunnhumby’s services have assisted us in delivering the most value for them,” Ron Lalla, Office Depot’s executive vice president of merchandising, said in a media release. “We are looking forward to our continued partnership with dunnhumby and [its] ability to leverage data-driven customer science in our Office Depot and OfficeMax retail stores and online.”
Copernicus Marketing Now Isobar
London-based Dentsu Aegis Network is consolidating Copernicus Marketing and Forbes Consulting Group to form Isobar’s Marketing Intelligence Practice. The new practice will be led by Copernicus co-founder Peter Krieg and Forbes Consulting founder David Forbes.
OSI Creative Opens New Jersey Facility
Irvine, California-based OSI Creative has opened a new facility in Totowa, New Jersey. Two representatives will be based in the new location to provide on-site, responsive service to East Coast customers.

The agency hired Elena Putukova as vice president, planning. In her new role, Putukova will play an integral role on the agency’s planning and perspectives team and will lead strategic efforts across accounts in TPN’s Dallas office.
