T3Ci Processes Billionth RFID Tag Read

T3Ci, an RFID analytics and applications company, processed its billionth RFID tag read during the month of February 2007. This billionth read is the result of RFID programs at some 30 customers, with cumulative revenues of more than $700 billion, including five of the top seven global consumer product goods (CPG) manufacturers. During the last months, T3Ci has begun loading, storing and processing significant read volumes from international sources. "We have been very pleased with our working relationship with T3Ci", says Simon Ellis, supply chain futurist at Unilever. "They have proven to be both an innovative and flexible partner in the RFID space, and have allowed us to gain insights into the potential benefits of RFID-data much faster than we would have been able to do on our own."
