Tarte Cosmetics Tries a Digital Makeover

Tarte Cosmetics has enlisted the help of Capgemini's Lyons Consulting Group to transform its digital experience.

The project has included the launch of two new websites built on Salesforce Commerce Cloud, one for Tarte's U.S./Canada/International business and one for activity in the European Union. The new sites allow Tarte to sell and ship products across 190 countries.

"We are so excited to share our new digital experience with [consumers]. Lyons built a truly stunning site with sophisticated functionality that engages customers throughout the shopping journey,” said Stephanie Urban, Tarte's senior director of digital marketing. “The custom front-end design is fresh and mobile-friendly, so we are already seeing impressive results." 

The cosmetics brand is known for its eco-chic, cruelty-free cosmetics and hypoallergenic, vegan skincare. Its previous e-commerce site was based on a custom platform that inhibited the company's ability to adapt to spikes in traffic during promotions and seasonal peaks.

Lyons created a brand-centric, responsively designed e-commerce site that showcases the innovative and distinct elements of the Tarte brand.
