Tom Ebling Joins Demandware as CEO
Demandware Inc. announces the appointment of Tom Ebling to chief executive officer. Ebling brings more than 20 years of senior leadership in business management and software development to Demandware. With a reputation for driving growth in emerging companies, Ebling will lead Demandware into its next phase, widespread market adoption of its on-demand e-commerce platform.
Ebling's retail technology experience includes serving as chief executive officer of ProfitLogic, which he led to successful acquisition by Oracle in 2005. Previously, Ebling acted as CEO of Torrent Systems, a data warehousing and analytics software provider acquired by Ascential Software in 2001. Ebling also spent 18 years of his career helping to grow Marcam Solutions from a startup to $200 million in revenues and a successful IPO. Most recently, Ebling served as CEO of Lattice Engines, a startup offering sales and optimization solutions to large sales organizations.
