The highest-paying job in demand is a physician, which reels in an average annual base salary of $212,270, followed by pharmacy manager ($131,099) and software architect ($130,891).The job with the most demand is software engineer at No. 23 with a base salary of $96,392 and a staggering 99,055 openings — more than double that of the next highest-paid in-demand job.
Other tech jobs in the top 25 include software development manager at No. 4; solutions architect at No. 6; analytics manager at No. 8; and IT manager at No. 9.
