Tropicana Unveils Super-Premium Juice

Tropicana Products Inc., a division of PepsiCo Inc., unveils Tropicana Pure Valencia 100 percent orange juice, a national first from this company. Tropicana Pure Valencia is the most premium juice Tropicana has ever offered. Fewer than 15 percent of Tropicana's 400 groves qualify as potential sources for Valencia oranges. These oranges are known for their rich color, juiciness and taste, and spend more than a year ripening on the tree, which is said to make them one of the sweetest. The juice will appear in grocery stores nationwide beginning this month, and attempts to answer consumers' growing demands to set a new standard for super-premium juice. "Our craftsmanship in creating Tropicana Pure Valencia gives consumers what they've told us they seek in a juice," says Ellie Halevy, director of marketing, Tropicana Products Inc.
