Under Armour Speeds Order Fulfillment

Due to rapid growth, Under Armour is upgrading and expanding its current technology infrastructure, which includes SAP enterprise software. As part of the project, Under Armour will leverage AL Systems' 600 light DynaPack Pack-to-Light solution to increase accuracy of order fulfillment, shorten order fulfillment times, and increase productivity and throughput within its distribution network. AL Systems' DynaPack solution meets the need for warehouse management functionality by replacing radio frequency (RF) scanners used within the warehouse for packing products en route to stores, including The Sports Authority, Dick's, Academy and Modell's. "We needed to add horsepower to our current 'put to store' operation," says Larry Rohleder, director of distribution planning for Under Armour. "DynaPro from AL Systems adds the functionality we need today to speed order fulfillment, along with the scalability to handle the challenges of tomorrow."  CG
