VF Corp. Taps Harris to Succeed Schneider as CIO
VF Corp. has tapped Sandra Harris to replaced Martin Schneider as chief information officer when the latter executive retires at the end of 2017.
“Martin led VF’s global business technology organization for more than 11 years, a period of tremendous business growth for VF and transformational change in retail through the rise of e-commerce and mobile shopping,” said chief financial officer Scott Roe. “He and his teams successfully managed numerous large-scale projects that enabled VF and our brands to navigate rapid technological changes, while also ensuring that our associates have the tools and resources to work anywhere in the world.”
An eight-year VF veteran Harris is currently vice president, global business technology. She previously served as chief financial officer of global supply chain, shared services and direct-to-consumer. She will work closely with Schneider throughout the rest of 2017 to ensure a successful transition.
“Sandra brings an excellent balance of technology, finance and business acumen to the CIO position,” said Roe. “She is the ideal person to build on the successful foundation that Martin established and further elevate the use of technology to support VF’s global business growth objectives.”
VF’s global business technology organization comprises more than 500 associates around the world who manage and maintain the technologies and information systems that power VF’s business and enable workforce productivity.
VF Corp. ranks 47th on CGT's list of the Top 100 Consumer Goods Companies for 2016.
