Walgreens Growing Locally Relevant Lines with Virtual Summit

a store in a brick building

Walgreens' Localization Summit on May 13 will be a chance for diverse, local and regional businesses and entrepreneurs to share their retail offerings with the retailer’s merchants.

The virtual event, hosted by ECRM, will give local vendors an opportunity to meet with Walgreens’ merchandising team. By sharing product and receiving feedback, suppliers can work to get on the retailer's shelves in their local areas.

The Localization Summit aims to bring local businesses from all 50 states, Washington DC and Puerto Rico to evaluate opportunities to build more locally relevant product offerings for Walgneens' customers. It.will focus on products across grocery and household, apparel, beach, tourism and general merchandise, as well as other categories.

Meetings will be conducted on ECRM’s Connect virtual meeting platform, with sourcing and product submissions made through its RangeMe product discovery and sourcing platform.
