Warnaco Selects Oracle to Support Global Expansion

Warnaco Inc., which operates retail globally under the Calvin Klein Underwear, Calvin Klein Jeans and Ck Calvin Klein brands, has selected Oracle Retail to support the growth of its international direct to consumer business. Warnaco will use Oracle Retail Assortment Planning and Size Profile Optimization and Oracle Retail Merchandise Financial Planning to create a unified retail planning model for select brands across various regions.
 
The Oracle Retail system will provide the science and analytics necessary to capitalize on emerging market opportunities, to maximize assortments and to improve the profitability of in-season inventory. The initial phase of the project will begin immediately with the implementation of Oracle Retail Merchandise Financial Planning for Warnaco's Asian and European markets. For the second phase, Warnaco plans to implement Oracle Retail Assortment Planning and Size Profile Optimization.
