Alex Drew To Lead Demand Planning at Bumble Bee

Alex Drew is joining The Bumble Bee Seafood Company as VP of customer development and strategy.

Most recently a leader of category management and sales operations for JUUL Labs, he’ll be responsible for Bumble Bee’s customer strategy and planning function, including business management and demand planning.

As part of this, he’ll define and executive on objectives to gain profitable market share, and will have full management of all customer investment, forecasting, distribution, innovation, pricing, promotion, assortment and tools.

Drew has more than two decades of consumer goods experience in retail development, project management, and business leadership in the food, beverage and vapor industries, including more than 10 years at Anheuser-Busch InBev in frontline sales, category management, trade marketing, pricing and sales strategy positions.

He also served in senior sales leadership positions for the Kellogg/Kashi Company.

He will report to Cooper Shepherd as part of a reorganized senior commercial leadership team that includes Dan Hofmeister, senior VP and general manager of Anova; Laura Chamberlain, senior VP of sales; and Jeanine Lewis, VP of brand marketing.
